On Thursday, the Year 7s and 8s participated in a brilliant workshop on ‘Romeo and Juliet’ with the Young Shakespeare Company. 

The students had great fun developing their knowledge of the text by acting alongside the professional actors.  Highlights included the Capulet dance party and the unspeakably rude biting of thumbs episode!

The Year 8s have been following an RSC programme looking at ‘Romeo and Juliet’ in drama this term in preparation for studying the play in more detail in English after Christmas.
