UNICEF committee hold Pre-Prep assembly and workshop
On Monday some of the UNICEF committee held an assembly for the Pre-Prep pupils. They talked about what makes us all unique and learnt a fun song! To link with World Book Day, they then led workshops centred around a book by Sita Singh, Birds of a Feather. The story focuses on a peacock called Mo and is a wonderful tale all about recognising our individual qualities. Pupils then created feathers for our giant bird they aptly named Mo. With the help of Valentina (Year 7) and Mrs Laycock this wonderful bird took flight and will be on display in the school entrance hall, so please do come and take a look!
