An action-packed adventure for Year 8 in Barcelona
Year 8 enjoyed an action-packed adventure in Barcelona. The pupils enjoyed staying in a superb hotel featuring a rooftop pool and outstanding breakfasts that set the perfect tone for our daily explorations.
Our journey began with a deep dive into the art of Gaudi at Park Güell, followed by a visit to his masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia. Each evening, we dined out, savoring local delights such as paella and tapas, which provided a delicious taste of Spanish cuisine.
One of the highlights was a day spent at PortAventura, Europe's number one theme park. It's safe to say that Mr. Shaw enjoyed it just as much as the children! We also relished a morning at the beach, followed by a leisurely stroll through the atmospheric Gothic Quarter and the bustling Boqueria Market.
It was an absolutely brilliant week, filled with unforgettable experiences that we will all cherish.
