The Junior School
Kingshott Junior School is a busy and exciting place to be.
Our small classes provide a happy, caring and friendly environment where our children flourish. They develop both academically as they gain a deeper level of knowledge and understanding in each subject but also as individuals as they explore more opportunities throughout the school. Good behaviour and conduct, along with academic success and personal development are regularly celebrated in the Junior School assemblies.
A wide range of clubs are open to them to give them a well-balanced and varied education alongside the excellent standard of academic education.
The curriculum is broadened and there are more opportunities to contribute to school ensembles, choirs and drama productions as well as an extensive programme of extra curricular activities and day and residential trips.
Throughout, children are exposed to opportunities that enhance their learning in ways not always found in other schools. A considerable amount of individual attention is provided through our high teacher-to-pupil ratio.
Children are encouraged to participate in nationally recognised programmes including the Junior Maths Challenge and LAMDA Speech and Drama.
