Year 2 History and Science trip!
Year 2 went on a trip to Shuttleworth to support their history and science topics. They were able to see first-hand some of the earliest planes and gliders in the museum, including a 1909 Bleriot XI, and were lucky to witness a Bristol Scout flying in the skies above Bedfordshire.
A trip on a 1921 Leyland 'Charabus' was one of the highlights of the day, a little bumpier than our coach ride to the venue!
The children also explored the Swiss gardens where they were able to identify different types of plants and trees.
A busy day, well done Year 2!
