The Sitzprobe!
For many of us, Sitzprobe was an unknown term... well Google tells us that...
In opera and musical theatre, a sitzprobe (from the German for seated rehearsal) is a rehearsal where the singers sing with the orchestra, focusing attention on integrating the two groups. It is often the first rehearsal where the orchestra and singers rehearse together.
So today was that day!
Here is a sneak peek at the spectacular show that is coming soon! The truly brilliant orchestra led by our very own Mr Rhodes and the phenomenal acting led by the incredible Mrs Adams coming together for the first time!
We are getting so excited now for the performances.
