Judging Science books for the Royal Society!
We are delighted to have been selected as part of an official judging panel for the Royal Society. Our pupils join others from across the UK to help pick the winner of the Young People's Book Prize. Kingshott received a judging pack, along with copies of the six books.
Our Academic Scholars are leading the Year 6 students that have volunteered to take part. They are all enjoying reading and providing feedback on the shortlisted books - it's certainly kept them busy! Their judging feedback is then collated by the Royal Society to determine the winner. It's been a great opportunity to encourage scientific reading, as well as enthusing and exciting pupils about science.
