Last week our Y7 and 8 pupils went to Cambridge for an enriching, yet educational day out.
We started the morning with a guided punt tour of the River Cam and the college ‘backs’. The guides told the pupils all about the history of the University and its beautiful architecture.
Pupils then enjoyed some free time in the market square before joining their tutors at Wildwood restaurant for a stone-baked pizza lunch (which they all, needless to say, loved!).
We then headed to King's College and Chapel where we were treated to a private guided tour of the College by Professor Bert Vaux, a close friend of Dr Tristram’s. The children were lucky enough to see behind the scenes at King's and learn all about College life.
We were delighted to have started the School year with one of our many enriching experiences that the oldest pupils at Kingshott enjoy during their time in Years 7 and 8.
