A wonderful hive of activity in Nursery this year!
As ever, it has been a wonderful hive of activity in Nursery this year, and the children have loved their introduction to Talk for Writing. It has been amazing to see how confident the children have become reading the story maps. This week, the children enjoyed innovating the story of Cinderella by changing the animals and characters to create a new story! Some fun cross-curricular activities based on Cinderella this week have included making crowns and tiaras, magic potions, lolly-stick puppets, as well as investigating and making clocks and sundials. Preparations are also underway for our upcoming Nursery Talk for Writing Ball! We are looking forward to learning a waltz, finding Cinderella’s lost slipper, making fruit wands for snack, and playing ‘Stepmother Says’.
