Pupils in Year 3 recently enjoyed a trip to the Celtic Harmony Education Centre.
Year 3 teacher, Ms Wesley, says:
"A most enjoyable day was had by Year 3 recently when we travelled back to the Bronze Age. It only took us 45 minutes to do this which surprised us all, but on arrival we were met by some fairly intimidating looking characters who resembled the Celts. We soon made friends with them and they allowed us to share their world for the day. We helped them grind grain using querns, make pots in which they could either store their food or drink from and attended the trainee arrow head workshop, amongst other things. It was an all-round excellent day and our learning was enhanced by this experience. Fortunately, we arrived back to 2024 in time for home at 4pm!"
This is just one of the many regular trips and activities that our pupils enjoy to bring their learning to life at Kingshott.
