Year 2's Educational trip into Hitchin!
Year 2 enjoyed an educational trip in Hitchin town centre - with the children using their map-reading skills to navigate their way around.
They learnt lots about the history of Hitchin, discovered how many old buildings the town has, and were amazed at how long the town has been there. We also visited St Mary's Church and were able to explore the beautiful building, searched for animals and found the famous mice as well as an eagle, sheep, fish and even a unicorn!
The children really enjoyed learning about their local area.
